OFFICE POLICIES
- Office hours are as posted above. Our front door opens at the exact opening time, not before. If you need
assistance after hours, please call our main phone number and follow the instructions for true medical
emergencies and for questions & inquiries.
- Please sign in upon arrival in our office.
- We request that all patients and guests waiting in our office remain in the designated waiting area until called
by a member of our staff. This is for safety and patient privacy reasons.
- We see patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. If you are bringing children with you to our office,
please make sure that they are supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during your visit with us. This
is for their safety and your piece-of-mind.
- We try to keep waiting times to a minimum. If you experience a long waiting time at our office, we will do
our best to give you an idea of the length of that wait. Please rest assured that Dr. Patel will give you the
same time and consideration that you need as he does for all his patients.
- Do you have questions about your insurance coverage (eg., what services will and will not be paid for by your
insurance company)? Since all plans are different, your best resource would be the customer service phone
number on the back of your insurance card. However, we would be more than happy to help you in any way
we can.
- We require 48 hours to prepare referral and precertification documentation. Please schedule your
appointments with specialists, imaging facilities, rehabilitation facilities, etc. accordingly.
- There are often days when Dr. Patel may be very busy seeing his patients in the office. Your calls are very
important to us, and we make every effort to answer your questions in as timely a manner as possible. Any
messages for the doctor are immediately forwarded to him, and he returns all messages as soon as his
schedule allows. PLEASE NOTE: if your call is regarding a true medical emergency, please inform the staff
member when you call.
